The Mountain Research Station is an interdisciplinary facility of the Institute of Arctic and Alpine Research providing mountain ecosystem research and educational opportunities for scientists, students, and the general public.

Science Discovery is an experience-based, educational outreach program that stimulates scientific interest, understanding, and literacy among Colorado's youth, teachers, and families.

The University of Colorado Museum of Natural History contributes to knowledge of the natural world and the humanities through research, teaching, and public education. The museum offers a wide variety of K-12 and adult educational programs and activities throughout the year, including lectures, family days, guided tours, and classroom fossil kits.

The Biological Sciences Initiative (BSI) provides research, classroom, and professional development experiences for K-12 teachers and students interested in the biosciences.

The CU-Boulder Environmental Center's Sustainable Practices Program offers individual courses and professional certificates for people who are interested in sustainability training. Courses are offered on-line as well as in person, and are aimed at the continuing education needs of the working professional.

Communication And Social Engagement (CASE) provides CU-Boulder students with opportunities to serve their communities in the interest of environmental sustainability and communication scholarship.
