Lisa Dilling
Lisa Dilling is an assistant professor in Environmental Studies and Fellow of the Cooperative Institute for Research in Environmental Sciences (CIRES) at the University of Colorado at Boulder. She received her PhD in biology from the University of California-Santa Barbara. Dilling developed a program in integrated carbon cycle research for the Climate and Global Change Program of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and helped develop a national interagency program to study the integrated carbon cycle that links together relevant research in six dederal agencies for the U.S. Global Change Research Program (now the U.S. Climate Change Science Program). She spent two years as a scientist with the Environmental and Societal Impacts Group of the National Center for Atmospheric Research. Her research focuses on the use of information in decision making related to climate and, in particular, the carbon cycle.
